Project Description

Skywalker Ranch is the pastoral home to Lucafilm’s celebrated sound design, mixing and audio post-production facility, Skywalker Sound. The legendary campus features Victorian architecture on domestic farm land complete with vineyards and bee colonies.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers served as the primary HVAC designer for five existing spaces within the scope of work. Engineers provided a due diligence analysis for the existig HVAC systems and provided solutions to addresscomfort and temperature issues associated with the spaces in question.

Comparative analysis between solutions such as CHW fan coils and VRF retrofitting was conducted. Engineers also generated floor plans with planned duct and piping layouts as well as selecting equipment for use in the new spaces
