Project Description

Kauai Beer Company is a craft beer brewery located in Lihue. Pragmatic Professional Engineers designed, and then re-designed, due to Covid-19, the expansion and renovation of the Brewery’s kitchen and brewing areas. Multiple permits were obtained for the various phases of the project’s scope.

The work included a newly renovated (ki bar, on the second floor, which included a dedicated outside air system to provide fresh, filtered air to the space coupled with an energy efficient variable refrigerant flow system for comfort cooling. One portion of the work, which is for a future phase, included the demolish of an existing structure and the construction of a brand-new structure, including a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.
