Project Description

This project was part of a tenant improvement undertaking for XP Power. The property, available for lease, is used for research and development, general offices, and manufacturing. Some of the property highlights include market-ready and customized interiors, dock and grade loading, a raised warehouse roof structure, and an expansive outdoor amenity area. The building features an open structure ceiling concept to provide a sense of volume to the interior. The tenant improvement project transformed a dated, uninspiring commercial building into a modern, dynamic workspace.

Pragmatic PE handled the fire protection services for this multi-story unit, providing engineering and design services for the Tenant Improvement Fire Sprinkler design. Key features of the fire sprinkler systems engineered by Pragmatic PE include:

Pragmatic PE efficiently conducted site research before producing 2D and 3D sprinkler system designs using AutoSPRINK and Revit. The full services provided included design services for the new fire sprinkler system, utilizing the ESFR Sprinkler Method, fire pump design, coordination, and shop drawings.
