The proposed Marriott Residence Inn Hotel is a 5 storied building with 164 guestrooms. The Hotel amenities include break rooms, restrooms, commercial kitchen, fitness room, Indoor pool, laundry facilities and trash rooms.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers are responsible for the HVAC design of the building. The building has a Prescient steel structure, hence the trusses in the building structure limit the flexibility in ductwork design and distribution. All the common areas are served by VRF Fan coils which are in turn connected to Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs). The use of ERVs significantly increased the energy savings and reduced the operating cost of the HVAC system. The corridors have been ventilated by a Dedicated Outside Air Unit. An Indoor Pool Dehumidification system has been designed to maintain the desired temperature and humidity in the Pool Room.

The project has been designed and coordinated in Revit to ensure that they are not in conflict with other trades. This is a LEED Silver certified project.
