Project Description

The Netflix Cafe is located at the heart of the four story Netflix headquarters in Los Gatos, California. The cafe was updated under this project to better serve the needs of the employees which included renovations to the dining room, buffet style kitchen area, dishwasher room, and main lobby.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers modified the existing ductwork in order to meet the new HVAC requirements of the space. Additionally, the plumbing system to the kitchen and dishwashing room was reconfigured. A new domestic water heater and grease interceptor was provided.

Through close coordination with the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health, Pragmatic Professional Engineers was able to minimize the size of the grease interceptor which saved the client substantial installation costs. Additionally, modifications to the ductwork were minimized to reduce waste up front costs.
