Project Description

This restroom renovation project is located on Level 3 in the Macy’s building in Honolulu, Hawaii. The renovation of this restroom included the expansion and re-orientation of the Mens and Womens restrooms.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers provided mechanical and plumbing engineering and design for the project which included sizing and routing the cold water, hot water, waste, and vent for the revised locations of the plumbing fixtures and space. Based on the expansion and re-orientation of the space the main waste and vent was coordinated so the plumbing chase would not cause additional cost for the reconnection to the main piping. Additionally, low flow fixtures were provided to reduce water usage.
