Project Description
Bay City Mechanical procured Pragmatic Professional Engineers to design the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Tenant Improvement system for the 350 Rhode Island Building in San Francisco, California. The building design has been revised to include large open office spaces, conference rooms, private offices, pantry areas and locker rooms.
Most of the spaces are served with a VAV reheat system. To accommodate the revised layout and to avoid long duct runs in some areas we have designed VRF system instead of the traditional VAV system. To preserve the aesthetics of the architectural plan, we have worked closely with the architect and hidden as many VAV systems as possible above ceiling, while also maintaining ease of access.
