We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a recent project with Rivian Automotive, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer. Pragmatic PE had the privilege of providing comprehensive mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for this innovative endeavor.

In the realm of mechanical engineering, our contributions encompassed a spectrum of critical systems, including state-of-the-art water-cooled chillers, makeup air units, dehumidifiers, and gas-fired heating hot water boilers. On the plumbing front, our expertise extended to emergency eye wash stations, an air compressor for clean dry air (CDA), an argon gas system, nitrogen gas system, reverse osmosis, and de-ionized water systems, as well as natural gas piping.

One of the project's standout achievements lies in the realm of fire protection. Our team took on the entire design process, including meticulous hydraulic calculations for system sizing. To meet code requirements, we replaced the existing 6" fire riser with an 8" fire riser, ensuring compliance with NFPA 13 standards.

Throughout this endeavor, our engineers collaborated seamlessly in Autodesk Revit, ensuring a clash-free design that streamlined the construction phase.
