Project Description
The Dublin High School Building F Engineering & Science project introduced a new 3-story building, enhancing the school's capacity with modern classrooms, hub space, a multi-use room, a weight room, a maintenance room, and multiple offices. The project, classified under occupancy type E and construction type II-B, was completed in Spring 2021.
Pragmatic Professional Engineers managed the commissioning through Eichler Associates Inc. for the new HVAC equipment, lighting controls, and plumbing systems. Key features of the project include:
HVAC System: Installation of rooftop gas/electric package units, an infrared radiant tube heating system, supply fans, exhaust fans, split system units, VRF outdoor units, and a wood dust collection system.
Lighting Control System: Implementation of Wattstopper controls.
Plumbing System: Installation of gas-fired water heaters.
This project aimed to create a state-of-the-art educational facility, providing a conducive learning environment for students and faculty in the engineering and science disciplines.
