Project Description

Bionova Scientific is constructing a new state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility (Single-use Bioprocess Platform) to support the clinical manufacturing of bulk drug substances, with the potential to support commercial launch manufacturing.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers has provided plumbing and process piping engineering and design services for this manufacturing space. Compressed Dry Air, Oxygen, Carbon Di oxide, Nitrogen and Process Waste Systems have been provided to serve the bioreactors. Production and distribution of Purified water has also been designed. In addition, waste and vent systems, Domestic and non potable water, tepid water for emergency fixtures have been provided. Existing natural gas system has been extended to accommodate two new 780 MBH boilers.
