There are commercial spaces on the ground floor and one level of basement garage. Each of the buildings have their own amenties and ulity spaces. The community also has a fitness/yoga center.
Pragmatic Professional Engineers was responsible for the mechanical design. This project location was designated as an area of poor air quality by the San Francisco Health Department. To protect the residents from respiratory, heart, and other health effects associated with breathing polluted air, an enhanced venlaon system has been designed as per Article 38 of the San Francisco Health Code. The residential units are being served by a combination of the Variable Refrigerant Flow system and one-to-one mini split systems. Outside air is being pulled through in-slab ducts.
Garage Venlaon system has been designed based on “Sweep” Parking Garage Exhaust Systems. Carbon Monoxide (CO) sensors have been used to control the speed of the garage transfer and exhaust fans.
